Bard Predicts Which Jobs Will Be Safe From AI

Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a game-changer in the job market. So much so that Google's AI chatbot, Bard, has recently made some intriguing predictions about the future of various professions. According to Bard, truck drivers and data entry clerks might need to start considering alternative career paths as AI continues to advance. The rise of self-driving trucks and AI-powered software capable of automating tasks like updating databases could potentially render these jobs obsolete.

On the other hand, professions like teaching and law seem to have a safety net. Despite AI's capabilities, it can't replace the human interaction and guidance that teachers provide to students. Similarly, while AI can assist lawyers, it can't replace the human touch required in interpreting and applying the law.

Interestingly, Bard also highlighted the role of human connection in religious practices, suggesting that clergy are safe from AI replacement. In a nutshell, jobs that heavily rely on human interaction and interpretation seem to have a better chance of surviving the AI revolution. However, as Bard itself noted, this is not an exhaustive list, and the landscape of jobs at risk due to AI is likely to expand in the coming years.
